Refunds, plainly.
Foodnance starts with a 14-day free trial, then bills monthly. Here's exactly what happens to your money if you cancel, downgrade, or we get a charge wrong.
The short version
- Cancel before your 14-day trial ends and you're never charged.
- Changed your mind after the first payment? Ask within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full.
- After that, cancel any time. Billing stops and you keep access through the end of the month you've paid for.
- If we charge you wrong, we fix it — no need to convince us.

Your free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. We ask for a card when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you'll never be charged at all. If you don't cancel, your first monthly payment is taken when the trial ends.
Your first payment
If you're charged when your trial ends and Foodnance isn't for you, ask within 14 days of that charge and we'll refund the payment in full and close your account. You don't need to give a reason.
How to ask for a refund
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so refunds are paid back through Paddle to your original payment method. You can ask in either of two ways:
- Email billing@foodnance.com from the address on your account.
- Ask Paddle directly: use the link in your Paddle receipt, or go to paddle.net and choose to request a refund.
Monthly payments after the first
Foodnance is billed monthly, in advance, in Canadian dollars, with applicable tax added at checkout. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops all future billing, and you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, then your account closes.
Monthly payments after the first are not normally refunded once the month has started. If something went wrong, write to us and we'll look at it.
Billing mistakes are different
If we charge you the wrong amount, charge you twice for the same month, or charge you after your cancellation should already have taken effect — that's our mistake, not a request you have to justify. Email billing@foodnance.com and we'll correct it: the erroneous amount refunded to your original payment method within 7 business days.
Downgrading your plan
Moving to a lower plan takes effect at your next billing date. We don't refund the difference for the period already billed at the higher rate.
If we're the ones who end it
If we end your subscription for our own reasons — not because you broke the rules — or change our terms in a way you don't accept, you get a full refund of your most recent payment, not a prorated one.
